@adimatchaLove discovering new cafe and brands through this matcha advent calendar. Day 8 was @Kazu Matcha Ph Kazu. It is a blended cultivar from Uji, Kyoto, Japan. I followed their recommended ratio: 4 g matcha, 40 mL room temp water, 100 mL milk, 5-8 mL sweetener. It has a balanced profile of umami and sweetness, with hints of bitterness.
