Sakae no Shiro

This brand is not talked about much so it’s kinda exciting. As an usucha, I find it to have a light refreshing umami, slight and short bitterness, and a tartlike sweetness that became more pronounced in the aftertaste. It was slightly smooth and creamy, with little to medium astringency. As a latte, the tartness adds some sort of spice to the drink. It feels like I added some fruit syrup of sorts that gives it some pizzazz. Zesty and fun, I say. In my opinion, the flavor profile is not that cohesive; feels like it inherently lacks something. Regardless, it still makes for a refreshing usucha and an interesting latte.
