I finally got my hands on a matcha from Sujiri. This is the Uzu no Shiro. This color is very promising. Look, the green is really deep. The powder looks like really creamy too. It definitely is fragrant. It has a smell. It's not astringent smelling. It's just kind of like vegetal. It's really creamy and naturally sweet. Yeah, this is a really creamy and naturally sweet matcha. This one has like a really nice mouthfeel. I would say it's like light to medium mouthfeel, more kind of on the medium side, honestly. But this has like zero umami, slight, subtle astringency at the very end, which I think is really nice for balancing out the creaminess and the sweetness of the matcha. This one kind of reminds me of Hori Shichimen's Uji Mukashi, but the Uji Mukashi has some umami. I don't know if I would buy this again at this price point since umami is something that I do want a little bit of. This is the best matcha thus far that I've gotten on Amazon.
