The aroma was very pleasant, with creamy, dark chocolate, and fruity notes. It features a decent green with a slight yellow tinge. I found this powder to be bitter and astringent. The Classic Grade was a bit too bitter for everyday drinking for my personal preference. It has strong umami and slight floral taste. I personally enjoy this matcha best with sweetener. I would recommend it to beginners or those who enjoy adding sweetener to their matcha. I find this to be a reasonable price for the quality you get.
