Daily Matcha

Today I'm trying Mizuba Tea's Daily Matcha from Uji, Japan.. This matcha is priced at $25 for a 40-gram tin, making it a great option for a daily matcha.. Upon opening the tin, the powder was a vibrant green with a sweet, toasty aroma and a gentle grassy note.. It felt very buttery when sifting and fomed up nicely.. Prepared as a latte with my usual oat milk, this matcha was medium-bodied, creamy, and smooth with a subtle sweetness.. I noticed buttery notes, some umami, and a touch of bitterness.. There was more astringency than I typically prefer, but the milk helped to balance that out.. I give this one a 3.5 out of 5.
