This is a matcha that has been hyped by some of the matcha influencers that I've seen on TikTok. This is their ceremonial grade matcha powder, first harvest, certified organic. It's $42 for 40 grams. I will say the green isn't as vibrant as the matchas from traditional Japanese brands, but it's still really green. The smell is pretty mild, like a bitter vegetal smell, but not really seaweedy. I didn't have extremely high expectations for this because a lot of Western matcha brands have kind of let me down. The initial opening is very smooth, but then the aftertaste has a slight bitterness, very slight astringency. This isn't my favorite, but I would still be fine drinking it every day. It's not offensive at all. This is a really good one to buy that's accessible and in stock and better than a lot of the ones that you find on Amazon. If you're really needing some good matcha, I would buy this over any of the other Amazon brands. If you can still get your hands on that [Sayaka], I would gravitate more toward that because it has slightly more depth and less of an astringent taste.
