Mi-no-mukashi

My number 1 is Ippodo's Mino Mukashi. This is their New Year's seasonal, so it's only available from, I'd say, end of November to January, February-ish. It's also one of the most expensive matcha I've ever tried. It just has even more depth than Umon, and it's creamier, better. If I could drink this every day, I would.

Finally got my hands on Ippodo’s seasonal blend, Mi-no-mukashi. It was love at first sip. It has a strong umami flavor and just the right amount of sweetness that perfectly balances everything. It shines through in a latte, really smooth and creamy. I regret buying just one and would definitely repurchase it again.
