For the strong matcha lovers. As an usucha, the profile includes prominent vegetal notes, delicate yet lingering umami, bitterness akin to MK aoarashi. Slightly smooth and creamy, and medium astringency to top off. I found its profile to be too strong for me. Lots of ice. As a latte, I found the profile more enjoyable. It still has that umami and vegetal notes that will keep you on your toes. Toyo mukashi, for me, is better consumed in a latte. If you love MK Aoarashi, youโll enjoy this one as well.
