As soon as I opened the can, I was welcomed by this vibrant green. The smell was earthy and mellow and sweet. Itβs a really pleasant aroma. As an usucha, the profile I get from this is smooth and creamy, almost velvety. I found mild umami and sweetness with hints of earthy nutty notes. There was little to no astringency and some umami aftertaste. As a latte, the velvety creaminess of the matcha kinda amplified. I decreased my syrup from the usual ratio, tasting more of the umami and nuttiness. I love this blend and I canβt wait to make more drinks with this. I feel like it was really close to becoming part of my top 5 matcha. Rating: 9/10.
