Yorozu Mukashi

Right off the bat, I was welcomed by this stunning green, and I can tell I’m in for a treat. I tried it out as an usucha first, it had umami and floral notes, with a hint of sweetness. It was also smooth and mildly creamy, and finishing it off with light umami aftertaste and little astringency. I was pleasantly surprised that it was refreshing too. As a latte, this matcha works well with oat milk, its umami and creamy profile compliments the texture of the milk.
