The powder is an impressive green! It has a very pleasant sweet and creamy scent with strong umami notes. It has little to no bitterness and astringency. As an usucha, this matcha had a lovely warm and nutty scent and taste, with more pronounced bitterness and astringency. In a latte this matcha has slight bitterness and astringency. It features a hint of nuttiness, and bold savory and umami notes. I find this to be a very reasonable price for the quality of matcha powder. I personally prefer Saga no Mukashi, as I tend to gravitate towards bolder, full-bodied matcha powders. I recommend Saga no Mukashi to those who enjoy bold, creamy, umami powders.

This is their more expensive offering out of the two. This was $30.99 for 30 grams. It's not a super bright green, but it's definitely vibrant. And it doesn't lean yellow or brown. I would say it's a light to medium bodied matcha. It's pretty creamy and sweet on its own. There's very little astringency or bitterness. But you don't really get the umami in the beginning. There's a little bit of a nice nutty aftertaste that turns into an umami at the very end. The taste kind of lingers on my tongue a little bit. There's not crazy depth, but it's not mild either because it has some nice body to it. It's not as good as the Sugiri Uzuno Shiro. That one is just so creamy, but this one is a little bit more umami than that one. I would recommend this. I would probably give this for Amazon matcha an 8 out of 10.
