Finally got around to opening this 20g tin of Ito En’s Hana no En! The scent is quite grassy and umami to me, with a hint of nuttiness and sweetness. It’s quite a floral matcha, but the floral notes tasted perfumey/soapy to me. I would mainly drink this as an usucha, as it is a mild matcha, and the nuances disappear easily in a matcha latte. I don’t think I will be reaching for this that often.
