I found the color to be decently vibrant. It also featured a slight seaweedy aroma. I was surprised how sweet it was, I detected no bitterness or astringency. I would describe it as “sharp,” reminiscent of wine or a fresh stream of water. It had a slight astringency and was a bit nutty. As a koicha, it remained sweet. In a latte, it was very sweet and creamy, and the nuttiness was more prominent. It was still fresh and light like a stream of water! I found them to be sweet and mild. I tend to prefer stronger flavor profiles, but if you’re seeking a mild matcha for everyday use, you should try this one out! I found this to hold with Kansen, making it a great staple matcha to have in my rotation.
