Organic Superior is lovely as a powder, featuring a deep rich green with a slight yellow tinge. The aroma can best be described as delicious as to evoke warm memories, it is reminiscent of miso soup/tempura dipping sauce! It froths up very well. Organic Superior in particular is very rich, creamy, and smooth. It has a lot of depth and richness, accompanied with some bitterness and astringency. As an usucha I find it to be umami and sweet, with slight nuttiness. In a latte, it is quite rich and creamy with strong umami. I find this to be slightly high. While the powder is pleasantly rich and creamy, the bitterness is a bit too prominent for me personally. I enjoy it best using lower water temperatures or with a hint of agave, I find that it balanced out the notable bitterness. I recommend this powder to those enjoy medium-full-bodied, creamy, and umami matcha with some bitterness.
