Hime

Here's another Amazon matcha find. This time I'm trying the Hime blend by Matcha Ro.. First off, can we talk about the tin design? It totally gave me Demon Slayer vibes, and I'm not mad about it.. The powder itself was super buttery smooth and it smelled so sweet, like soft floral notes, almost like spring in a jar.. The color was more on the yellow side compared to others I've tried. it still frothed up really nicely.. Taste wise, it's creamy, slightly sweet, with those same floral hints.. Not a ton of umami, but there is a bit of astringency and a touch of bitterness at the end.. I'd give this a three out of five.
