Wakasumi

Today I'll be reviewing another Amazon matcha find. This is Suwitendo's Wakusumi.. Upon opening the tin, the powder was a vibrant green shade with a sweet, grassy aroma.. The texture was very fine and sifted easily.. When whisked, the aroma became more vegetal with subtle seaweed notes.. Mixed with my usual oat milk in a latte, this matcha was medium-bodied, creamy, and smooth.. The flavor leaned grassy with subtle umami notes and a hit of nuttiness.. There was some bitterness and some slight astringency on the finish that the oat milk helped to balance.. Overall, I give this one a 3 out of 5.
